Ron Brown, Safety Director, is a Certified Hyperbaric
Technician, as well as an EMT-ICC, with many years of
Emergency Medicical experience, and has specialized in
Underwater Investigation and Dive Rescue.

Dawn Salka, RN, Hyperbaric Nurse Manager, is a 1982
graduate of St. Vincent's Hospital of Nursing, N.Y.C.
has worked on med-surg floors, cardiac step-down unit,
and the Neonatal Intensive Care before joining The Regional
Hyperbaric Center. She is a certified scuba diver. As
nurse manager, she is responsible for coordinating patient
care, providing in-services to medical and nursing staff
and along with her staff, is involved in outreach programs
educating the community about carbon monoxide poisoning,
decompression illness, and the benefits of hyperbaric
oxygen therapy.

Gessie
Turnier earned her AAS in 1985 at Borough of Manhattan Community
College and her BSN at Downstate Medical Center in 1988. She has
been working as a Critical Care Nurse since 1988. She works part
time at the Regional Hyperbaric Center, has completed the course
in Clinical Hyperbaric Medicine, and is presently enrolled in
the Westchester Community College EMS program.

John
Reynolds, CHT, is a Certified Hyperbaric Technician.
John has five years experience as an Emergency Medical
Technician and also has two years of experience in Hyperbaric
Medicine as a technician at both the Mount Vernon and
Westchester Medical Center sites. He has completed training
in clinical Hyperbaric Medicine.

Steve Wilson, CHT, is a Certified Hyperbaric Technician.
Steve has twenty seven years experience in pre-hospital
care in both the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman
and in Emergency Medical Services as a direct care provider
and manager. Steve is currently a New York State certified
Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic and has completed
the clinical training in Hyperbaric Medicine. Steve is
an avid scuba diver trained to the Rescue Diver level
and is currently studying for his Dive Master certification.
He has been involved in Hyperbaric Medicine since 1998
and has actively cared for wound care and emergent patients
at both the Mount Vernon Hospital and Westchester Medical
Center.
