Mission Statement - Life Support Technologies Inc., is committed to increasing the utilization of clinical hyperbaric technology through the use of solid engineering practice and medical science.

We are a leader in the Industry – The unique blend of individual skills and capabilities possessed by the Life Support Technologies group is what enables us to bring you a level of experience and service unrivalled in the industry. This is made possible through the teaming of internationally recognized experts in hyperbaric physiology and medicine, chronic wound treatment, clinical business management and deep diving, aerospace, and clinical equipment engineering.

For more than 10 years, LST has concentrated on (integrating) our wide range of skills and experience with the clinical application of hospital based Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medical Services.

The result is that today, the LST group provides the most clinically advanced and Hospital profitable programs available anywhere – period.

Experience is the key – Life Support Technologies was originally formed in 1986 to provide specialized mixed-gas, oxygen and life safety engineering services needed to take man to depths of more than 1000 ft. and more of sea water in search of oil.

In 1991, LST was sole-sourced by NASA to develop the underwater simulations and equipment used to train astronauts for work in the micro-gravity of space, and facilitate the transfer of critical hyperbaric and oxygen safety technology from the commercial deep diving industry to meet the unique skills and safety requirements of the Hubble Space Telescope repair program. LST also provides support to US Department of Defense Special Operations including high altitude (hypobaric) and hyperbaric technology, equipment and emergency training. We are proud that NASA and the US military continues to contract LST for assistance in their ongoing development of oxygen safety equipment, hyperbaric emergency medicine procedures, and related hostile-environment training programs.

Today, the Life Support Technologies group senior staff members have a combined 120 man-years experience in the development and operations of hyperbaric medical programs. Facilities in the Northeast currently operated and/or developed by LST include the Westchester Medical Center Burn Unit, the Mount Vernon Hospital, Nassau University Medical Center, St. Agnes Hospital, North American Hyperbaric Center, Arden Hill Hospital, Jacobi Medical Center, and the US Army Soldier Systems Command Center in Natick, Massachusetts
